Sweet Day

#stampinup   #faithfulinkspirations  Today I'm sharing another awesome card made with the "Cool Treats" stamp set and coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.  At the Proverbial Stampers gathering, we made several cards with this bundle--save 10% when you order these items together--so I'll be on a "Cool Treats" roll this week!  I'm really loving the color combination of Watermelon Wonder and Early Espresso--it makes me think of strawberry ice cream and hot fudge sauce, which, no doubt is the point!

For this card, we started by embossing a 3-3/4" by 5" piece of Whisper White Card Stock with the Confetti Embossing Folder.  Next we stamped the two-part sentiment in Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder in the unembossed center.

We cut three 1/2" strips of card stock--one each from Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, and Pool Party--and snipped the ends at various lengths.  We stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso onto the Whisper White strip.  We arranged these strips on the Whisper White panel and attached them with a staple.

Next, we built our ice cream treats.  We stamped a Peekaboo Peach twist, a Pool Party treat, and two Crumb Cake cones onto Whisper White Card Stock and cut them out with the coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.  We cut out a Watermelon Wonder scoop of ice cream and an Early Espresso hot fudge topping with the same framelits.  We adhered the cones and the Pool Party treat directly to the card with Snail Adhesive and the ice cream at the top of the cones is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

To finish the card, we adhered the Whisper White panel to a 3-7/8" by 5-1/8" Watermelon Wonder panel and then onto an Early Espresso Card Stock card base.

Gosh! These treats look good enough to eat, don't you think?!
